The Draft Panel will be available up to Friday, 30th January, 2026. After suitable addressal of the queries, the final panel will be sent to RBI for their consideration.

Considering the requests received from members who could not submit the MEF 2025-26 due to various reasons, it has been decided to give last opportunity to submit the MEF application for the year 2025-26. Accordingly, all the members who wish to submit their application can do so on 16th October and 17th October 2025.

In order to give adequate time to members to submit MEF, it has been decided to extend the last date for submitting the MEF from 26th September 2025 to 10th October 2025. Accordingly, last date for online submission of MEF is 10th October, 2025.

It may kindly be noted that no further extension will be given for filing MEF 2025-26, as PDC has to submit Bank Branch Auditors’ Panel to RBI within stipulated time.

Before filling the Multipurpose Empanelment Form (MEF) for the year 2025-26, applicant members are advised to go through the Advisory. For any clarification/query/complaint regarding MEF 2025-26, the MEF applicants can write to PDC under the tab “MEF Complaint Entry” available at https://meficai.org/

Online Applications are invited from Chartered Accountant firms/LLPs who desire to be empanelled with the office of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India for the year 2025-2026 for considering for appointment as auditors of Companies as per Sections 139(5) and 139(7) of the Companies Act 2013 and of Statutory Corporations/Autonomous Bodies as per the provisions of their respective Acts. Online application form along with detailed instructions in this regard will be available on the website https://care.cag.gov.in/Authorised/Default.aspx from 07 January 2025 to 17 February 2025. The applicant firms/LLPs will have to fill/update the data showing the status of their firm as on 01 January 2025. After filling/updating the data, the firms/LLPs will be required to generate online acknowledgement letter for the year. If the firms/LLPs fail to generate online acknowledgment letter, their application would not be considered for empanelment. The firms/LLPs will be required to submit a print out of the acknowledgement letter generated online and also hard copies of the documents in support of their online application to this office by 28 February 2025.

The Institute is in receipt of representations from applicants who could not submit the MEF 2024-25 due to various reasons. Accordingly, it has been decided to give last opportunity to members to submit the MEF application for the year 2024-25 upto 25th October 2024.

Accordingly, Last date for online submission of MEF is 21st October, 2024.

Before filling the Multipurpose Empanelment Form (MEF) for the year 2024-25, Members are advised to go through the Advisory. Information provided through MEF is shared by ICAI with RBI, NABARD and other authorities for the purpose of empanelment for professional work.
